Donald Joseph Qualls, better popularly known as DJ Qualls is an American actor producer and fashion model. DJ Qualls became famous after his appearance of Road Trip. Since then his appearances have been featured in a variety of feature films including for The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. Alongside his role on Road Trip he has played in over 22 television shows like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order & other. Qualls, who was diagnosed at age 14 with Hodgkin lymphoma is an incredibly resilient fighter. His cancer went into remission after two years. However, the treatment at such an early age left the body with a severe injury and hindered his growth. In his early years, he was accustomed to being in poverty, and financial security was the main objective. He stated that "I've had a very low-cost lifestyle throughout my life that I need financial security otherwise it will be a nightmare to me." He also looks back at his childhood and hopes to tackle the problem of bullying. In my opinion, cruelty is a heartbreaking thing he says. DJ's dream role would be to become a father on reel and on the real world. Although, he acknowledges that directors do not usually choose me in those kinds of characters. Someday he would love to have a child of his own when he would be in a position to dedicate less time on his work and more to the child he has.
