Aaliyah Dana Haughton and Aarti Mann

Aaliyah's debut album Age Ain't Nothin But A Number was released in 1994. The album came out as Gold in the year she turned fifteen years old. The group was strongly influenced by R. Kelly, and helped put her in the spotlight. In 1996 Jermaine Durpri and Timbaland collaborated to produce the second album of hers, One In A Million. It featured the track the song If Your Boyfriend only Knew as the single number one. Aaliyah gained international recognition as an R&B artist with their release of the sophomore album One In A Million. She starred with the legendary martial artist Jet Li in the 2000 action-romance film Romeo Must Die. Joel Silver, the film producer, met her at the awards ceremony and kindly offered the role. She was cast in the film based on Anne Rice, a vampire movie Queen of the Damned, which premiered in 2002. In 2003, she was on screen in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. In 2001, 1999, 2002, and 2003 she was nominated to win four Grammy Awards. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. She is a first-generation Indian-American who was born in Connecticut. Mann is the abbreviation used for her married first name Mankad. However, she uses both Aarti Mann and Aarti Majumdar for her professional name. Her acting career started in the the mid 2000's, with a few parts in movies and TV. Some of her other notable work include Leverage 2012, Suits 2013, and Grey's Anatomy 2017. She's appeared in many commercials, including Volvo's global car manufacturer. She has a daughter, resides in Los Angeles and is pursuing her acting.
